About La Marqueta

La Marqueta is an asian grocery store in White Plains, New York. It is listed at 115 E Post Rd, White Plains, NY 10601, which places it among the local businesses of White Plains that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in White Plains with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 6 AM–10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach La Marqueta at (914) 481-5103; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is lamarquetawhiteplains.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 174 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

White Plains is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and White Plains follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Aside from being overpriced, if you get something from the buffet today, they'll pretend to weigh it but change the price to whatever they feel in the moment based on what they gave you. If you want to confirm this, buy something today and buy THE EXACT SAME THING TOMORROW and notice how you'll get a different price - No wonder my entire office stopped going there.

Today Friday, January 10th 2025. The staff this morning except for one young lady seems as though they refused to cash out 2 black women waiting to pay. There is this young lady, whom I reported to her boss and stop going there for over four years because of some incidents geared towards African Americans. Personally, I hoped behaviors did change but it still exist. The problem is whatever conversation they were having, which even the cook got involved. Basic common sense was not in action here, reason is when you are talking about a person in your language, intelligence will at least let the other parties know not to look at the person be talked about. Hope this put stop to continuous foolishness. Ok team a copy of this review I am giving to your boss.

This store has a very powerful Blessing on the community whereas it serves a major hospital, government buildings, residential, homeless shelters etc. for years. The owner is a great friend of mine that has a passion of servitude, love, respect for said communities. His workers from the cashiers, stock, butchers, deli, cooks are a gentle extension of the owners qualities and character. Javi, Yami, Mike, Bryan, Dahlia, etc are the epicenter of great customer service, devotion, respect and integrity. Keep doing a great job, this community loves you back.

La Marqueta is a wonderful combination of a butcher shop, grocery store and deli that offers a great selection of fresh produce as well as delicious cooked foods.and given its convenient location near White Plsins Hospital, it offers folks in the neighborhood a wonderful place to buy everything you might need without having to travel a great distance to go to one of the larger supermarkets!
